  1. Come in and talk to us, discuss your requirements, choose from our plans or create your own dream home with our help. (link here to go through to the process for design and build on next page)
  2. We will then take the stress away from you and construct your new home starting with the excavation and concrete or timber floor and framework. Once your home starts to take shape with the framing and any steel work complete we can start to close it in starting with the roof and windows.  The cladding will complete the exterior look whether you choose bricks, weatherboard or any other type of cladding, you will really start to see your dream home forming before your eyes.  Now we get to the fun part, making your home snug and warm with insulation, interior wall linings and entry doors and let’s not forget the hub of any house, your kitchen.  By now you can see the rooms flowing into each other, add the interior doors and finishing, take your time over a cuppa or with friends to choose your colours and let the painting begin to transform your rooms into life.  All the plumbing hardware and appliances will be installed now and any tiling, and floor coverings to complete your dream home.
  3. After a thorough clean, there is only 1 thing left to do, hand over the keys and walk you through your new home.

Design and Build – The Process

No hidden costs, fixed price contract

We would love to build your dream home, starting right from scratch.  We have a fantastic Program that allows us to work directly with you to design the home of your dreams, suitable for your unique section.  Because no two sites are the same and we want you to get the best of your views, sun, prevailing winds and of course style and budget.

Not only will our program show you your 2D floor plan, you can also add furniture, kitchens, etc.  But best of all it gives you full 3D images including roof lines, windows, doors, and allows virtual walk through.

  1. Site Visit
    Enables us to view your ideas, look at and get a feeling for your site and discuss options for design based on your views, sunrise, etc.
  2. Preliminary plan
    Based on what you are wanting in your new home and your budget, we would put together a preliminary design and present for discussion.  Changes can then be made so we get it 100% right for you.  Once preliminary design is agreed upon, we would obtain a quote from our architect to have the plans drawn (this would include Draft plans and full set of finalised plans, working drawings  and specifications ready for consent ).
  3. Engage Architect
    Once you have the price to go ahead with plans and happy to move forward, we would require a deposit to engage the architect and commence Draft copy of plans.
  4. Draft Copy
    Draft copy will be sent through and checked by both us and yourselves and any adjustments made if required.  It may be that during this process, the architect requires Geotech information and an engineer may be required to do reports for you on the stability of land, effluent, floor design etc.  This would be charged as required.  Once Draft plans are finalised, we can then put together a preliminary cost to build for you.
  5. Preliminary Costing
    Draft plans would be sent to our subcontractors for pricing so we can put together for you a very close estimate on
