This architecturally designed "farm house" just south of Whangarei, is made up of three linked concrete block and cedar

pavilions at the front that overlook the owners dairy farm leading out to the coastal views of Ruakaka.  The far left

pavilion houses the masterbedroom and leads onto the main bathroom and bedroom wing.  The wing features a unique

gallery style window running the length of the hallway that feeds the bedrooms.

The large wood burning fire and wood storage beside it, casually separates the lounge from the other living spaces,

while at the same time heating the areas, and allowing the block walls and polished concrete floor of the interior to

absorb and retain the heat. 

The home has created its own sheltered sanctuary, complete with wood storage areas at the rear, which in time once developed will serve this growing family well.
